Administrators in the Diocese of Providence are strongly encouraged to complete a Catholic school leadership program. Principals of parochial and diocesan elementary and secondary schools must complete a Catholic school leadership program as a condition of hire. In the event that a person is hired who has not completed such a program, arrangements must be made during the first year as principal to enter a Catholic school leadership program. This program must be completed by the end of the third year.  The Catholic School Office has information on available programs.
